MOMS-First Monday, by Dr. Ogi Ressel
Saturday, February 28th 2009Warm hellos to all,
I'd like to dedicate this THOT to moms everywhere.
Yes, these tireless people who work for nothing and raise the children
who will form our future generation - the most important task I can think of.
These women who most often place themselves second and third....and
last, in order to give to their children and their family - they often go without
so that their children can have.
We all know that moms make all the health care decisions in the family - take
the kids to the dentist, the optometrist, the chiropractor, to get new shoes, new
clothes, drive them to their piano lessons, pick them up from soccer, baseball,
football practice, the school dance, clean their cuts and boo-boos, read to them
at night, put them to bed, entertain them, sing for them, console them, listen
to them, heal their hearts, play Lego with them, go camping, teach them to drive,
teach them romance, dating, heartbreaks, ....and a million other jobs that are all
part of being a mom.
I would like to suggest that you honour and thank every mom who comes to see
you on Monday!
Get some carnations or white roses and give a flower to every mom in your office!
Hand it to her personally after each adjustment.
The look on her face will be one which will linger in your memory for a long time.
The sad reality is that in many instances, that will be the only flower she may receive.
....And that is not Ok!
So do it.
Make it a Moms-First Monday in your office! What a concept!
Have a ball honouring those who have nurtured you!
Warmest wishes,
Dr. Ogi Ressel
