Warm hellos to everyone!

Lots of cards and letters following last week's THOT on "Your Fear". 
I know I am getting under your skin. This is Good!

I talked about that fact that many doctors are crippled and immobilized
by fear - not Ok.  

Yet...there is another issue that I also want to address - Contentment.
 It is that nebulous territory somewhere between happiness and despair.
It is middle-ground. It is feeling simply Ok about life. It is not really being
excited about where you are and what you do. It is hum-drum. It is like
sitting in your rocking chair watching life go by from your window and not
really feeling a part of it. It is not giving back to the Universe. It is not
making waves. It is not taking a stand. It is scraping the bottom of the
jar of dried up peanut butter. It is eating left-overs. It is sitting on the
dock while your cruise ship sails away. It is missing your stop.

Missing your train. ...and it is missing your Life.
I can see it all already - more cards and letters! Bring it on!

You see.....you need to remember that being a chiropractor is not some
cool career you've stumbled onto by accident. No. It is a calling. It is a
mission. You did not choose to be a Chiropractor because someone told
you it is an Ok job. Absolutely not! You were chosen!

I absolutely believe this with my whole being! Listen...it takes a very special
person to do what we do in the face of overwhelming adversity from the
medical-pharmaceutical armada.

 ....And we are blowing them away. Take a look at the numbers of people
you've helped who gave up hope. Look at the children who no longer have
their condition because of you.

Take a look at their parents who are so grateful that you came into their
life. .....and tell me this: How can you possibly feel hum-drum? It you are
not deliriously thrilled and fired and totally purpose driven, we need to
talk.....And you absolutely know that I am here for you.

Contentment - take it outside with your garbage - you life has no room for it!
